Founder and Psychotherapist

Christine Balletta, MA, LMFT

I am Christine Balletta, a dedicated psychotherapist with 15 years of clinical experience, specializing in mental health consultations for family members of individuals with bipolar disorder and those recovering from narcissistic abuse. Based in the serene town of Mount Shasta, California, I combine my extensive professional background with personal experience in advocating for the care of a family member with schizoaffective disorder. My approach is rooted in empathy, informed by Depth Psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and supported by NeurOptimal Neurofeedback Brain Training.

Throughout my career, I have worked in trauma-focused outpatient county mental health with adults and children, crisis intervention in local hospitals, and provided grief and palliative care for hospice patients and their families. Additionally, I have considerable experience as a school counselor, primarily working with at-risk youth and their families. As a certified Birth Educator and Doula, I have also been deeply involved in natural health, nutrition, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum issues, and parenting since the birth of my first child over 25 years ago.

My consultations are designed to help clients feel more empowered, balanced, and whole in their lives. I offer individual, couples, and family counseling, focusing on providing a safe and supportive environment to explore unique challenges and strengths. For those navigating the complexities of mental healthcare or recovering from the trauma of narcissistic abuse, I am here to offer expert guidance and compassionate support. Licensed by the State of California and holding certifications from ALACE and CAMFT, I am committed to making a positive difference in the lives of my clients.
